Introduction of Product

Based on the technology of binocular stereo vision, the binocular smart passenger counter adopts 3D head detection and 3D tracking technology to accurately obtain the real – time motion of all human bodies within the video recording range. By analyzing the track data, the high-precision passenger flow statistics can be fulfilled.

Thanks to its good characteristics of shock proof, radiation proof, and wide voltage , etc. The binocular smart passenger counter is able to adapt to the complex bus environment, so this type of passenger counter is applied to the city bus, enterprise shuttle bus, hypermarket bus and interurban coach. This device can also be installed together with the logical unit, platform and server to form a comprehensive data analysis and inquiry system solution.

Functions of Products

The binocular smart passenger counter, installed above both the front door and back door, will be connected with the onboard logical unit and door open/close signal. The passenger counter will automatically collect data and send them to the logic unit, then the logic unit will send the data to the platform server through the network, the final statistical result of the data will be output.

  • The product adopts the leading binocular stereo vision technology and the stereo camera shooting is based on double lens, so the target height information can be accurately captured through the passenger counter. It also incorporates the intelligent tracking algorithm to make a analysis on passengers’ behavior trace, in order to accurately calculate the passenger flow number and passengers’ walking direction.
