On October 14, 2016, China-LAC Business Summit and China- LAC Industry Cooperation Exhibition were opened grandly in Tangshan.

The attendees included 462 domestic enterprises and 160 Latin America enterprises. In exhibition hall , it established 24 special booths for domestic enterprises, 15 national image booths for Latin America countries, as well as 200 domestic/overseas featured products booths.

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao and Uruguay President Tabare Vazquez attended this summit and visited an exhibition on China-LAC cooperation in Tangshan.
